Empowering Women Through Catchball

Join South Africa’s growing community of women building strength, confidence, and connection through the game of Catchball.

About the South African Catchball Association

The South African Catchball Association (SACA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the sport of Catchball nationwide. As an affiliate of the International Catchball Federation, we aim to create opportunities for women and girls to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy teamwork in a supportive environment.

Through our national tournaments, development programs, and coaching initiatives, we are building a strong foundation for Catchball in South Africaβ€”empowering women both on and off the court.

Programs & Initiatives

SACA is committed to growing Catchball from the ground up through national events and training opportunities. Our National Tournaments bring together teams from across South Africa, creating a spirit of competition and unity. Through our Development Programs, women and girls gain access to structured training that builds skills, confidence, and teamwork. We also host Coaching and Umpiring Clinics to equip leaders with the knowledge and accreditation needed to guide and develop players. Each program is designed to strengthen communities and promote women’s empowerment through sport.

Note: We partner with sponsors, government, and sports bodies to scale impact.
